Preparation time –15 minutes
Cooking time-30 minutes
No. of persons to be served – 3-4
1.Coconuet Oil – 2tbsp
2.Cabbage – ½
3.Grated Coconut – ¼ cup
4.Onions – 2small
5.Ginger – 1medium
6.Turmeric Powder – 1/4tsp
7.Jeera – 1/2tsp
8.Curry leaves – handful
9.Green Chillis – 2-3
10.Mustard Seeds – ¼ tsp
11.Whole Red Chillis – 2-3
12 .Salt – As per taste
1)Marinate cabbage with onions,ginger,green chillis,curry leaves,grated coconut,turmeric powder and salt with sprinkle of water for about 15mins.
2)In a pan,add coconut oil into that add jeera and marinate cabbage and let it cook on low flame till cooked nicely.
3)For the seasoning,add coconut oil,mustard seeds,whole red chillis,curry leaves and add it to the cooked cabbage and simmer it for 5mins.
4) Cabbage Thoran is ready to be served.
Cabbage Thoran can be served hot hot as per ones choice.
