Hello my beautiful fam welcome back to my kitchen, today I’m going to share with you how I make carnitas ( fried Mexican pork) and a delicious tomatillo green salsa!!! Carnitas are slowly cooked In fat, by any means carnitas are not healthy at all but it’s good to have once in a while, they are sooo delicious and perfect for a taco night! Ingredients: 15-20 tacos
3 lbs pork loin
16oz Lard ( pork would be soo much better)
1 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup warm temp coke (preferably mexican coke)
1 whole orange
1/2 white onion
4 garlic cloves
Fresh herbs (rosemary, sage and thyme)
2 bay leaves
1 can tomatillos or 14 fresh tomatillos
1 jalapeño
4 chile sédanos
1/4 white onion
2 garlic cloves
1 bunch cilantro or 1 cup
1/4 tsp sugar
1 serving of love 💕
