Its time to get Texas style!


2 1/4 tsp Yeast
1 1/4 cup Milk
1/4 cup Honey
4 tbsp melted Butter
1 large Egg
1 tsp Kosher Salt
4 cup Flour

1 sticks Butter, softened
1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
1/2 cup Honey
1 tsp Cinnamon

First boil the milk in a small pot and then let it cool to room temperature
Once the milk has cooled, put it in a medium bowl with the honey and yeast.
Mix well and let sit for 5 minutes to let the yeast bloom
Once that time is up, add the melted butter, egg, and salt.
Mix well
Then add 2 cups of lour and mix well
Slowly keep adding the remaining 2 cups of flour until its mixed well
Transfer to a sheet pan and kneed the dough. Adding more flour when needed
Once the dough is a nice round ball, cover with a towel and let sit 1 hour to let rise
Once that time is up, roll out the dough until 1/4th inch thick
Fold it over itself and then cut out squares
Cover and let rise for 40 minutes

Meanwhile combine everything listed under the butter ingredients together
Once the bread is done rising, put in the oven for 15 mins at 350F
Once the bread is done cooking, brush with melted butter and serve with the butter and Enjoy!
