Machaca Burrito Recipe – Americanized Mexican Food with Avocado & Salsa


2.5 pounds oven roast trimmed
4 chopped cloves garlic
1 chopped white onion
8 eggs
1 tablespoon taco or burrito seasoning
6 flour tortillas burrito size
1/2 cup salsa


Add garlic and onion to cooking oil. Stir
Add beef cook each side until brown
Cover with water and simmer 3 hours (yes THREE or more)
Remove and transfer to skillet
Break apart and add 1 cup broth
Add seasoning
Simmer 20-30 minutes until liquid disappears
Add salsa
Add scrambled egg and stir until egg is done
Wrap in tortillas with avocado
Grill both sides until golden brown
