Hello everyone! These tacos have been all over my timeline on TikTok and Twitter. I searched for the recipe online and found that this beautiful mexican delicacy was made with quajilo peppers, chipotle peppers and mexican oregano. Sadly I couldnt find those chillies and cilantro ( I used coriander leaves instead) so I had to use the ones that were available here in Tesco. It took me a while to understand the recipe but indeed I needed to try these. I hope my version does justice to the original recipe and hopefully all you Asians can easily get the recipe from you local supermarket! Enjoy and please do tell me if you have tried it! A few tips for a good 10/10 bite :
Make sure to eat it while it’s still hot.
The onions make a HUGE difference.
Use a non-stick pan.
Dont add extra oil to the pan.
Eat with a lime/lemon wedge for an extra kick!

Ingredients :
600g of beef
black pepper

Marinade :
A handful of dried chillis ( I used indian dried chillis, extra spicy)
1 Tomato
1 red onion
3 cloves of garlic

Stew :
star anise
cinnamon stick
1 Bombay onion
2 cubes of beef stock
3 cloves of garlic
1-3 bay leaves

Tacos :
flour tortilla wraps
1 medium onion
shredded cheese
