Spicy Matka Handi
Serves 5-6
Recipe in English:

Ingredients:
-Pyaz (Onion) 3 medium
-Tamatar (Tomatoes) finely chopped 3 medium
-Badi elaichi (Black cardamom) 1
-Hari elaichi (Green cardamom) 2-3
-Sabut kali mirch (Black peppercorns) 5-6
-Tez paat (Bay leaves) 2
-Dried red chillies 4-5
-Namak (Salt) 1 & ½ tsp or to taste
-Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 & ½ tbs
-Ajwain (Carom seeds) ½ tsp
-Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) ½ tbs or to taste
-Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tbs
-Dhania powder (Coriander powder) 1 & ½ tbs
-Kashmiri lal mirch (Kashmiri red chilli) powder 1 tbs
-Hari mirch (Green chilli) 3-4
-Kaju (Cashew nuts) 5-6
-Dahi (Yogurt) whisked 1 Cup
-Chicken ½ kg
-Rafhan corn oil ½ Cup
-Cream 2-3 tbs
-Garam masala powder 1/4 tsp
-Hari mirch (Green chilli) 1-2 or to taste
-Hari mirch (Green chilli)

Directions:
-In a bowl,grate onion with the help of the garter.
-Add tomatoes,black cardamom,green cardamom,black peppercorns,bay leaves,dried red chillies,salt, ginger garlic paste,carom seeds,red chilli powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder,Kashmiri red chilli powder,green chillies,cashew nuts,yogurt and mix well.
-Add chicken and mix well,cover & marinate for 30 minutes.
-In handi,add corn oil,marinated chicken,mix well and cook for 4-5 minutes.
-Cover & seal with rolled dough and let it cook on low flame for 30-40 minutes.
-Turn off the flame,add cream and mix well.
-Turn on the flame,add garam masala powder,green chillies and mix well.
-Cover and simmer on low flame for 2-3 minutes.
-Garnish with green chilli & serve!

-Bowl mein pyaz ko grater ki madad sa grate ker lein.
-Tamatar,badi elaichi,hari elaichi,sabut kali mirch,tez paat,dried red chillies,namak,adrak lehsan paste, ajwain,lal mirch powder,haldee powder,dhania powder,Kashmiri lal mirch powder,hari mirch,kaju aur dahi dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Chicken dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur dhak ker 30 minutes kliya marinate ker lein.
-Handi mein corn oil aur marinated chicken dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 4-5 minutes kliya paka lein.
-Dhak dein aur rolled dough sa seal ker ka halki ancch per 30-40 minutes kliya paka lein.
-Chulha bund ker dein aur cream dal ker ache tarhan mix karein.
-Chulha on karein,garam masala powder aur hari mirch dal ker ache tarhan mix karein.
-Dhak dein aur halki ancch per 2-3 minutes kliya paka lein.
-Hari mirch sa garnish ker ka serve karein!
